Stoke City chairman Peter Coates has confirmed that the Premier League club are interested in Hannover striker Mame Biram Diouf.
The former Manchester United player's contract runs out next season and he has recently been linked with a move to Stoke.
The club's chairman has now confirmed their interest, but said that there are other strikers on the radar.
"He is one of the strikers we have registered an interest in," Sky Sports News quotes Coates as saying.
Diouf has 25 goals in 49 appearances in the Bundesliga for Hannover.
