Stoke City have confirmed the signing of winger Xherdan Shaqiri from Inter Milan for a club-record £12m fee.
The Switzerland international, 23, has penned a five-year contract with the Potters.
Shaqiri joined Inter Milan from Bayern Munich in January, but an underwhelming spell at San Siro has seen him move on after just seven months.
"He's a dynamic and explosive player who will bring something different to the group and at the age of 23 he still has a great deal of potential," Stoke boss Mark Hughes told the club's official website.
"In the chats I've had with him it's obvious that he's excited about playing in the Premier League and showing what he's capable of."
Shaqiri, who won eight major honours during a three-year period with Bayern Munich, has scored 17 goals in 46 games for his country.
