Asmir Begovic could be offered a new deal at the Britannia Stadium as Stoke City attempt to fend off interest from Inter Milan, according to reports.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper has become a fixture in the Potters side since joining from Portsmouth in 2010, and has been named Stoke Players' Player of the Year for the last two years running.
However, Begovic only has 15 months left on his current deal, and Italian giants Inter Milan are keen to bring the Bosnia international to San Siro, reports the Daily Mail.
"He's got a year left after this summer and we have to be realistic, we don't want to get into a situation where his value diminishes if he doesn't sign," the newspaper quotes Stoke City chairman Peter Coates as saying.
Begovic, who has 38 caps for his country, has made over 150 appearances for Stoke.
