Sunderland have reportedly suspended defender Phil Bardsley for mocking the club's opening Premier League defeat to Fulham.
The 28-year-old is said to have written a message on Instagram laughing at the Black Cats' 1-0 loss to the Cottagers at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
The North East outfit have told Bardsley, who was not given a squad number by manager Paolo Di Canio for the season, to stay away from the training ground, according to The Telegraph.
Di Canio publicly criticised Bardsley during last season's campaign after he was pictured at a casino.
