Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has tipped former teammate Andy Carroll to continue his good form when his West Ham United team play Sunderland this afternoon.
The Hammers striker netted twice as Sam Allardyce's side beat Swansea City 3-1 last Sunday, and Carragher thinks that Carroll will be confident of extending the run against the Black Cats.
Carragher told the Daily Mail: "I know from experience that when Andy Carroll is in the mood and he gets the right kind of service, he is unplayable. He is a nightmare for defenders to handle.
"John O'Shea and Wes Brown, then, will be bracing themselves for what is headed in their direction this afternoon at the Stadium of Light.
"Carroll was outstanding in West Ham's win over Swansea last week and he will want to build on it."
