Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback has warned his teammates not to get complacent following Tuesday's win over Reading.
The Black Cats moved one point clear of the relegation zone thanks to a 3-0 triumph over their fellow strugglers at the Stadium of Light.
Despite the victory, Colback believes that there is still much work to do if the team is to climb the table.
"We knew coming into it that it was a must-win game and we produced on the night," said the 24-year-old. "But that's not even half the job done.
"We know we are down there where we don't want to be and where we shouldn't be, and we need to start winning more games, especially here, and giving the fans something to cheer about."
Sunderland travel to Manchester United in the league on Saturday.
