Sunderland midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini has said that he does not regret his decision to join the club from Juventus.
The Italian International signed for the Black Cats in July and admits that while it was difficult to leave the Serie A champions, he is enjoying life in England.
"It was hard to leave Juventus, but it was to the economical benefit of everyone – myself and the club," he told Radio Mana Sport.
"I left a great team behind, but I'm happy with the moment I am living through. It's a beautiful experience which I wanted.
"The English game remains physical and less tactical, but there is a lot less pressure around it."
Sunderland have endured a tough start to the season and are currently 19th in the Premier League table, having picked up seven points from their first 11 games.
