New Sunderland head coach Dick Advocaat has revealed that Adam Johnson is available for selection for Saturday's Premier League clash against West Ham United.
The 27-year-old was arrested on March 2 on suspicion of having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
The winger's bail was extended earlier this week until April 23, which caused Sunderland to lift their suspension and allow Johnson to return to training.
According to BBC Sport, Advocaat, who was appointed manager this week for the rest of the season, has claimed today that Johnson "can be picked" for this weekend's encounter.
The Dutchman added: "Every player who trains has an opportunity to start against West Ham."
