Sunderland defender Younes Kaboul has admitted that he is relishing the prospect of playing alongside Jermain Defoe once again.
The Frenchman will play with the 32-year-old for the fourth time in his career, following two stints at Tottenham Hotspur and another with Portsmouth back in 2008, after opting to join Defoe at the Stadium of Light.
He told the club's official website: "It is the fourth time I'll have played with Jermain Defoe and he's a special player.
"You enjoy training with him every day and I can't wait to play with him again, he only needs one yard to shoot and to score so he can surprise anyone quickly.
"For us to have a player like that is amazing."
Kaboul signed a four-year deal with the Black Cats in his move from Spurs.
