Sunderland manager Steve Bruce has said that he is looking forward to making a return to Norwich City tomorrow evening.
The Black Cats boss is preparing to take his side to Carrow Road, the ground where he spent three seasons during the 1980s.
Ahead of the Premier League fixture, the 50-year-old has revealed that he "enjoyed" his time in East Anglia.
"I had a wonderful three and a half years. I enjoyed every minute of it," said Bruce.
"We won a cup, we got relegated, we got promoted, finished fifth in the old first division, so it was a good time.
"My two kids were born there. I had a really good time, I enjoyed it immensely."
Bruce has also took the time to praise his opposite number Paul Lambert.
"[Lambert] has had a wonderful rise there. To go into Norwich and have back-to-back promotions is a wonderful achievement," added the former Manchester United centre-back.
Sunderland currently sit 13th in the league table, with five points from as many matches.
