Sunderland striker Fabio Borini has urged his side to keep winning games to secure Premier League survival following their 4-0 win over Cardiff City.
The Black Cats moved out of the relegation zone as a brace from Connor Wickham and strikes from Emanuele Giaccherini and Borini himself handed them their first victory at home since January.
He told the club's official website: "It's a massive win. Last week was our Champions League final and we showed that we could handle the pressure. We showed character and played good football as well. The four goals also makes a difference in the table with our goal difference.
"It was a penalty and I finished it well and that put us up 2-0 before half time, and that was great for confidence.
"We probably needed this earlier in the season but I'll take it now because we've got two more games at home, we need to keep going and keep believing."
Sunderland are 17th in the Premier League with 32 points from 35 games this season.
