Craig Gardner has hailed his Sunderland teammates following their 1-0 victory over Everton this afternoon.
Under the management of Paolo Di Canio, the Black Cats have won their last two encounters, which in turn has seen them pull six points clear of the Premier League's relegation zone.
"What a result the lads are on fire #hawaythelads," the suspended Gardner wrote on the social networking site Twitter.
Next up for Di Canio's team is a trip to Aston Villa a week today.
