Wigan Athletic have ended a six-game away losing streak with a tight win against Sunderland.
Sebastian Larsson opened scoring for the home side in the eighth minute after keeper Ali Al Habsi had blocked an attempt from Kieran Richardson.
However, Jordi Gomez brought the sides level just before the break with a penalty after Victor Moses went down at the hand of Larsson.
Franco Di Santo ended the stalemate through an injury-time goal with the help of James McArthur to put three points to Wigan's name.
Next up for Wigan is a trip to Arsenal next Saturday, while Sunderland travel to Wolverhampton the following day.
