England Under-21 international Duncan Watmore has claimed that he will ignore reported outside interest to remain with Sunderland.
The 21-year-old has been thrust into the first-team picture with the Black Cats since Sam Allardyce took control earlier in the season.
The attacker also starred as England's Under-21 side beat Switzerland on Monday, coming off the bench to help his country win 3-1.
It has been suggested that a host of clubs are closely watching the youngster, but Watmore has vowed that he wants to remain at the Stadium of Light.
"Do I want to stay at Sunderland? Yes I do. It's a great club. The new manager has been great with me since he came in. He's given me opportunities," Watmore told reporters.
Watmore, who represented Manchester United's youth team between 2002 and 2006, has scored twice in five Premier League appearances this season.
