Sunderland forward Mikael Mandron has joined Fleetwood Town on loan until the end of the season.
Mandron made two Premier League appearances as a substitute last year, but the 19-year-old has not featured for the Black Cats first team since Gus Poyet became manager at the Stadium of Light in October.
"I'm very excited to be here and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season," Mandron told Fleetwood's official website.
"I'm also really excited to discover football in the Football League and hopefully to be able to play first-team football."
Fleetwood boss Graham Alexander added: "We've worked to bring Mikael in from Sunderland. He's a lad we've watched on numerous occasions all season."
Although Mandron was born in France, he was called up to Scotland's Under-20 squad in May, having qualified through a grandparent hailing from Aberdeen.
