Gus Poyet has revealed that he does not intend to add to his Sunderland squad until the January transfer window.
The Black Cats have struggled for goals so far this term and some reports had suggested that Poyet would look to bolster his attacking options by recruiting a free agent in the near future.
However, Poyet has insisted that there are no plans in place for him to enhance his squad prior to the winter window.
"There were a few calls about a few players. To be honest, I am not really looking. I would prefer to go until January. I would like to concentrate on what we have," he told the Sunderland Journal.
"It would have to be something tremendous or losing three players through injury. At the moment, no, we are not looking for any player."
Sunderland signed nine players during the summer break.
