League One side Sunderland have reportedly shown interest in signing Watford striker Jerome Sinclair as they look to bounce back to the Championship at the first time of asking.
According to the Sunderland Echo, new boss Jack Ross wants to pursue a loan deal for the Hornets hitman.
The 21-year-old, who began his career at Liverpool, has previously represented the England Under-17s, with loan spells at Wigan Athletic and Birmingham City.
Sunderland chairman Stewart Donald recently stated that finances are available to Ross, who is said to have also shown interest in Sheffield United's Billy Sharp.
Sinclair made five appearances in total for Watford last season with no goals.
