Jonathan de Guzman has revealed his frustration with the number of chances missed by Swansea City in their Europa League defeat to Napoli.
Swansea missed out on a place in the last 16 of the competition following a 3-1 loss in Italy on Thursday night, but De Guzman believes that Garry Monk's side caused their own problems with the number of opportunities they wasted over two legs.
"Everyone is gutted," the midfielder told the club's official website. "We came here with great confidence, I think we showed that on the pitch.
"We could have gone through to the next round but Napoli did well in the final part of the game and put us under a lot of pressure.
"We were dominating the game more or less, but if you don't take your chances you won't win the game. Looking back at both games we could have scored a few goals."
Monk claimed that Swansea deserved to progress when he spoke to members of the press after the game.
