Pablo Hernandez has claimed that Swansea City deserved to record a victory after being held to a goalless draw by Napoli at the Liberty Stadium on Thursday night.
The hosts had a number of good chances to break the deadlock in the first leg of the Europa League last-16 tie, but Hernandez insists that Garry Monk's side are happy despite the draw.
"I think we deserved to win the game," the Spaniard told the club's official website. "We had a lot of chances to score, but that's football sometimes.
"The most important thing was the clean sheet, and the fact that Napoli didn't score. Next week's game in Naples is now 50-50 for both teams.
"The team is happy, and I think the fans are as well. We perhaps deserved more but it was a good game for us. We played very well, and produced some great football."
The second leg of the tie takes place next Thursday.
