Swansea City have confirmed that forward Marvin Emnes will be sidelined for up to three weeks with a hamstring strain.
The Dutchman suffered the problem during the opening stages of his side's 1-0 win at Southampton on Sunday.
Meanwhile, teammate Modou Barrow is back in training and in contention for Saturday's visit of Sunderland after picking up a knee injury in the same match.
Barrow was stretchered off towards the end of the game at St Mary's Stadium following a foul by Ryan Bertrand.
Leon Britton and Jefferson Montero are also expected to feature against Sunderland after recovering from a virus and hamstring problem respectively.
