Swansea City defender Jordi Amat has revealed that he is closing in on a return to fitness following a broken metatarsal.
The 23-year-old suffered the injury towards the end of last season, just weeks after recovering from knee ligament damage.
Amat is currently training on his own on Swansea's pre-season tour of Germany, but the Spaniard is hopeful that he can join his teammates in group sessions soon.
"I feel so good, there is no pain and I am training so hard," he told the club's official website. "The scan was very good and I hope next week I can train with the group. I am so looking forward to being with my teammates and approaching the days when I will be in the squad."
Swansea continue their pre-season tour of Germany on Saturday when they face 1860 Munich.
