Swansea City head coach Francesco Guidolin has described his team's future as bright after they beat Burnley 1-0 in their first Premier League game of the season.
A tap-in from Leroy Fer in the 83rd minute of the match was the difference as the Welsh outfit started their campaign with a narrow win at Turf Moor.
Despite the recent departure of club captain Ashley Williams to Everton and Andre Ayew moving for £20m to West Ham United, Guidolin believes that the Swans can enjoy a successful campaign.
"I thought we missed two big players, a big leader like Ashley Williams," the Italian told reporters after the game.
"A good player and a good striker like Andre [as well] but I am confident for our future because I've always said in these two months I'm happy to work with this club and now we need another centre back. I am happy and confident about our future."
Swansea's next Premier League match is against Hull City at the Liberty Stadium on August 20.
