Swansea City head coach Francesco Guidolin has said that club-record signing Borja Baston could make his debut in the Premier League clash with Southampton.
Last month, Swansea paid £15.5m to sign the 24-year-old from Atletico Madrid but he is yet to feature for the Welsh side due to a thigh problem.
However, Guidolin has hinted that the Spaniard could feature at St Mary's on Sunday afternoon, although he insists that he will not take any risks on the striker.
The 60-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "He is training with us and I hope to have him available for Sunday.
"I want to see him train with intensity and confidence. I hope to see him in this condition as soon as possible because we need him.
"He is a good player but it is important in this period not to rush him if he's not ready."
Swansea sit in 13th position in the league standings after four games.
