Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup has warned defender Chico Flores that he can not afford to keep being theatrical after being tackled.
Flores has been criticised in recent weeks - for going to ground following a row on the touchline with West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce, and then being booked for simulation after being struck by Stoke City's Steven N'Zonzi.
Laudrup told reporters: "He has to avoid it. I'm of an opinion where if there is too much spotlight on a player for certain things, right or wrong, referees are human and, if a player is said to dive a lot, then when I take charge of that team I have it in my mind.
"We have seen cases, and you can say it may be fair or unfair, with Gareth Bale and Luis Suarez.
"We have to avoid it with Chico because if someone really does hit him, instead of it being exaggerated, then maybe the other player gets punished."
The Swans face Fulham in their Premier League clash later today.
