Celtic boss Neil Lennon has backed Swansea City to be successful in the Premier League this season.
The Northern Irishman praised the Welsh outfit and their boss Brendan Rodgers after seeing them win 2-0 against his side at the Liberty Stadium last night.
“They have a very progressive manager in Brendan and someone who is very tactically astute as well,” he told Sky Sports News.
“He’s bright and if they believe in themselves they will be okay. I think it will be important to get that first win as quickly as they can which sets them up.
“We had the same scenario at Leicester in that we came up via the play-offs and most of the players had just played lower league.
“You always have that in the back of your mind but we hit the ground running and we were fine and I expect Swansea will be in the same boat.”
