Toronto midfielder Michael Bradley has said that he 'could not be more proud' of his father Bob Bradley, who was appointed head coach of Swansea City earlier this week.
Ryan Giggs was strongly linked with the position that Francesco Guidolin left on Monday, but Swansea wasted no time in appointing former USA boss Bob Bradley.
His son, Michael Bradley, who currently represents Toronto in the MLS, has said that the appointment at a Premier League club is "a dream" for both of them.
"It's a dream that we've had for a very long time to be able to coach a big club in a big league," Michael Bradley told reporters. "I've never seen somebody more fearless in the path and the choices that he made along the way. He's somebody I'm obviously very close with, I've looked up to him in every way, and I couldn't be more proud."
Bob Bradley had been in charge of French side Le Havre before leaving to join Swansea.
