Swansea City manager Garry Monk has said that his team were punished for a number of defensive mistakes in their 4-1 defeat at Liverpool.
The Swans were made to pay early in the second half for an error by goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, as his clearance hit Adam Lallana and rebounded into his own net.
"I think we played okay," he told BBC Sport. "We had the most possession, we created chances, but the mistakes we made cost us the game. You get punished at this level. We performed okay but those mistakes cost us.
"Lukasz Fabianski has been fantastic this season but every player makes a mistake. You lose as a collective.
Swansea have dropped down to ninth in the Premier League table following their defeat at Anfield.
