Swansea City defender Angel Rangel has conceded that his side were not good enough in their 1-0 defeat to Stoke City at the Liberty Stadium.
The Swans extended their winless run in the Premier League to five matches as Bojan Krkic scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the fourth minute.
Jonjo Shelvey struck the post in the second half, but Garry Monk's men succumbed to their third defeat of the campaign.
Rangel told the club's official website: "It was a frustrating night for us where we are not at the level we should be performing at. We started on the front foot but our own mistake cost us the game.
"It was a game where we did not perform at our best. We did not let them create anything apart from the penalty - it was an even game with not many chances for either side.
"We need to look at ourselves individually to see what we have done wrong and then look to solve the problem as a team."
Swansea are 14th in the Premier League after nine matches this season.
