Swansea City full-back Angel Rangel is reportedly keen to try to break into the England national team, despite his Spanish heritage.
The 29-year-old is believed to be considering a switch to the Three Lions when he applies to become a British citizen after five years in the country, according to The Express.
The defender, who has been forced to endure a bout of injury this season, has never featured for the Spain national side in his career due to the vast quality within the world and European champions' squad.
Meanwhile, new England boss Roy Hodgson will announce his 23-man squad for the European Championships next Wednesday.
