Swansea City reportedly face the prospect of losing assistant manager Pep Clotet to Championship side Brentford.
The 38-year-old is said to be the leading contender to take charge at Griffin Park following his impressive work with the Swans.
According to The Telegraph, Swansea have already begun plans to replace Garry Monk's trusted right-hand man by making contact with former Liverpool coach Colin Pascoe, who already has a close bond with the Welsh outfit.
Clotet has been earmarked to take over from stand-in boss Lee Carsley, with talks between the Spaniard and Brentford's ambitious owner Matthew Benham thought to be at an advanced stage.
Swansea have made a stuttering start to the campaign, winning just one of their last nine games to see the pressure grow on under-fire boss Monk.
