Swansea City have reportedly described rumours linking the club to new takeover interest as "absolute nonsense".
Vijay Mallya, owner of Formula 1 team Force India as well as Indian Premier League cricket side Royal Challengers Bangalore, was said to have readied a £110m offer for the Welsh club.
The reports have come exactly a year after Steve Kaplan and Jason Levien's consortium completed their takeover of the Swans.
A Swansea source is reported to have told Wales Online: "This is absolute nonsense and we have no idea where these reports have come from."
The Swans finished 15th in the Premier League last season, seven points clear of the relegation zone.
