Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt has claimed that he "can't wait" to begin the Premier League season against Swansea City.

The 23-year-old, who has impressed against the Welsh outfit in recent seasons, has also revealed that he hopes to continue his strong form against the Swans.

"I can't wait to get started and it's nice that we start with Swansea as I have a good record against them. I always seem to play well and score goals against them," he told the Daily Star.

"They must hate playing against me and will probably be sick of the sight of me. They do play very good football but that just seems to bring the best out of my game. I'm hoping I will be given a chance to play again and it's important we start well."

Taarabt has four yours remaining on his current deal.
