Swansea City manager Carlos Carvalhal has revealed that an official announcement about his future will not be made until the end of the season.
Reports had suggested that the Swans have decided not to renew the Portuguese coach's contract, with the club all but relegated heading into their final-day clash with Stoke City.
Carvalhal, however, has confirmed that the matter of whether he will be in charge next term will be decided after the game against the Potters.
"I have agreed with the chairman to talk after the end of the season, I talked with him today. The situation is exactly the same. There has been speculation about me, but we will decide after the end of the season," he told reporters in his pre-match press conference.
Swansea must defeat Stoke and hope that there is a 10-goal swing between themselves and Southampton on the final day to have any chance of remaining in the Premier League.
