Swansea City are ready to offer David Moyes the chance to return to Premier League football by offering the former Manchester United and Everton boss the opportunity to take over from Garry Monk.
The Swans lost 3-0 at home to new league leaders Leicester City on Saturday to make it four defeats in the last five matches and just one victory in 12 in all competitions since August 30.
Even before the latest defeat there was intense speculation over Monk's future at the club he used to captain as a player, and The Mirror claims that Saturday's heavy loss will prove to be the final straw for chairman Huw Jenkins and the board.
With the Swans just two points above the relegation zone and in danger of missing out on next season's lucrative television deal, the paper alleges that Jenkins will offer Moyes a return to management after the Scot left Real Sociedad last month.
Swansea face a trip to Manchester City next weekend.
