Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony has revealed that he is close to agreeing a one-year contract extension at the club.
The Ivory Coast international, who joined the Swans for £12m in 2012, was heavily linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium in the summer after scoring 25 goals last season.
However, Bony says that he is happy with life in South Wales and has no intention to leave.
"Negotiations are going very well," BBC Sport quotes the 25-year-old as saying. "Hopefully things will be done this week. I have a great relationship with my teammates, the staff and fans.
"It is a fantastic club and I am I am happy to be here. I am focused on Swansea and a one-year extension would be perfect for me."
Bony still has three years remaining on his current deal.
