Swansea City midfielder Jonathan de Guzman has revealed that he wants to stay at the club next season.
The 26-year-old Dutchman, who is still under contract at Villarreal, recently finished his second campaign on loan at the Liberty Stadium.
Following talks with new Swans boss Garry Monk, De Guzman is hoping to spend another year in South Wales.
"I had a good chat with Garry, he knows how I feel about Swansea and my situation here," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "I have two more years left at Villarreal and now it's negotiation time.
"I'd like to stay. I'm happy here. Whether it's another loan or permanent I don't know, it's not my choice. There are a lot of people involved but hopefully we can sit around a table as soon as possible and see what happens."
De Guzman has been named in the Netherlands' 30-man provisional squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
