Swansea City striker Michu has reportedly been targeted by former club Rayo Vallecano as the race continues for his signature.
The Spaniard was loaned out to Napoli last season, but his struggles to secure regular chances in Serie A scuppered a potential permanent move and Swansea boss Garry Monk has confirmed that he is not in his plans.
According to Wales Online, Granada will attempt to rival Rayo for the 29-year-old's services, but his former employers have already confirmed that an offer has been made.
"Michu already has our offer. We can offer what we can because in England he earns a lot," Rayo sporting director Felipe Minambres told reporters.
Michu has just one year remaining on his Swansea deal.
