Swansea City manager Gary Monk has reiterated that there is no place at the club for outcast Michu.
The Swans are attempting to offload the injury-plagued striker before the transfer windows shuts, but Monk has made it clear that the Spaniard will not be given a chance to break back into the team if they fail to sell him.
"This league changes so quickly and things come on. It was his decision last season to try something new. It has not worked out as he would like. But now we are a different animal and he does not fit in our plans," he told reporters.
Michu enjoyed success during his first season at Swansea, netting 18 Premier League goals, before persistent injuries and a lacklustre loan spell at Napoli halted his progress.
