Swansea City are hoping to bring Middlesbrough defender Rhys Williams to the club this month, according to a report.
Michael Laudrup's side were defeated 3-1 at home to Tottenham Hotspur earlier today, and the Dane is expected to strengthen his side before the transfer window closes.
Despite refusing to confirm any interest in the player, Wales Online claim the club is likely to push through a £1.5m move for the Australian.
"The club is working on things but I don't know what stage things are at," Laudrup said." [Rhys Williams] is one more name to add to the rumours.
"He is someone who can play different positions but I don't think it's much use me talking about players not here because the most important are the ones here."
The 25-year-old, who represented Wales 10 times at under-21 level before pledging his alegence to Australia, has been at Boro for nine years.
