Sevilla have reportedly registered an interest in signing Swansea City midfielder Roque Mesa.
Last summer, Swansea spent £11m to sign Mesa from Las Palmas but six months later, the 28-year-old was given permission to return to his homeland to spend the remainder of the campaign at Sevilla.
Mesa only made seven outings in La Liga but according to ABC de Sevilla, talks are already being held regarding a permanent deal.
The report suggests that Sevilla would be willing to pay £7m to secure Mesa's signature, with the player still having three years remaining on his contract at the Liberty Stadium.
However, an opportunity to get Mesa off the wage bill could appeal to Swansea, who have just been relegated from the Premier League.
