Swansea City have announced that they have cancelled the contract of defender Dwight Tiendalli by mutual consent.
The 29-year-old full-back had been in the final year of his deal at the Liberty Stadium.
The Dutchman joined Swansea on a free transfer from FC Twente and went on to make 46 appearances for the Welsh outfit.
"Everyone at Swansea City would like to thank Dwight for his services, and wish him good luck for the future," a statement on the club's official website read.
Tiendalli was loaned out to Middlesbrough last season after finding first-team opportunities limited with the Swans.
