Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has revealed that the club is expecting hold talks with Scott Sinclair over a new contract after the Olympic Games.
The winger, who will be a free agent next summer, is currently training with the Team GB squad after he was chosen by manager Stuart Pearce for the 18-man party.
Laudrup now hopes to wrap up a new deal for the 23-year-old before the start of the upcoming campaign.
"It's the last year of his contract and it's a special situation — not only for him but in general when you have players with only one more year to go," said the Dane.
"But I imagine we will have to wait until he's back. For now we have to leave them to concentrate on the Olympics and when they come back we'll talk about it. Of course I would like him to stay."
Sinclair has been joined by Swansea teammates Joe Allen and Neil Taylor in the Team GB squad.
