Neil Taylor has admitted that he would consider leaving Swansea City in the summer to secure first-team opportunities.
The Welsh defender has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the Swansea side since suffering a broken ankle in September 2012 due to the emergence of fellow left-back Ben Davies, and he claims that he could have left the club in January.
"There was a bid for me from Fulham, it was rejected by the club and that is how football works and that's it," The Mirror quotes Taylor as revealing.
"It was the club's decision. If they had a price they would have sold me for then at least then I would have known I was not wanted or not needed. It would have made the decision for me.
"But ultimately I want to play football and every player would tell you the same. I need games."
Taylor's current deal with Swansea expires in 2016.
