Swansea City midfielder Sam Clucas has reportedly emerged as a late summer transfer target for Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 27-year-old saw a move to Burnley break down at the weekend due to a failure to agree personal terms with the Clarets.
Clucas looked set to stay at the Liberty Stadium until at least January, but Sky Sports News suggests that Wolves could move before Thursday's deadline.
A formal approach is expected to be lodged at some point on Wednesday, allowing Wolves and the £8m-rated player to thrash out terms.
Wolves already have the likes of Diogo Jota and Joao Moutinho on their books, while Anderlecht's Leander Dendoncker is also supposedly on their radar.
