Swindon Town manager Mark Cooper believes that the club will receive interest from clubs higher up the Football League during the transfer window.

Mark Cooper has admitted that he is expecting to receive interest for several Swindon Town players during the upcoming transfer window.

Midfielder Massimo Luongo is among those being linked with a move higher up the Football League when the window opens next month.

The manager told the Swindon Advertiser: "If Massimo plays to the level he has been, then of course that's going to happen, that's natural and normal because he's produced a string of performances that are of a very high standard, as have a lot of the other boys.

"I would think, with the way they're playing, clubs will be interested in quite a few of them.

"They're starting to realise what being at a League One club is like and playing in senior football and an understanding that we have to have a way of playing and we want to excite people, but we also have to get results."

Swindon currently sit seventh in the League One table.
