Paul Pogba scored the only goal of the game as Juventus triumphed in Turin's 'Derby della Mole' against Torino at the Stadio Olimpico.
The visitors controlled the tempo in a bitty opening half that saw three bookings and not a single shot on target.
Five minutes into the second half Torino keeper Daniele Padelli was forced into action when Carlos Tevez flicked inside for Sebastian Giovinco, whose low shot was parried away by Pandelli.
Moments later the visitors struck when Tevez hit the bar with a close-range header and Frenchman Pogba was on hand to nod in the rebound.
The remaining 40 minutes saw Juve slow the pace down and guide the result home, with Mirko Vucinic almost doubling the lead with a volley into the turf that Padelli tipped away.
Juve remain unbeaten from their opening six games and join Napoli on 16 points at the top of Serie A, while Torino stay in ninth.
