Torino have scored twice in the final 15 minutes to secure a 1-0 victory for Torino over Bologna in the Serie A clash at Olimpico di Torino.
The hosts won for the first time since September with victory at Atalanta last weekend and they started on top against the in-form visitors, with top scorer Daniele Baselli testing Antonio Mirante down low from the edge of the box.
Cristian Molinaro saw his effort blocked and Fabio Quagliarella was denied by Mirante from close range as the hosts dominated the first-half possession, but they were ultimately left frustrated by a stubborn rearguard action.
Bologna's first half efforts were restricted to a single Emanuele Giaccherini shot into the side-netting from a narrow angle just before the break, and the pattern of the match continued in the second period.
It looked as though Torino were going to be left frustrated when Quagliarella's header crashed off the crossbar after the striker had met Molinaro's cross on the hour mark, but they finally found the breakthrough with 15 minutes remaining when Andrea Belotti slotted home from the left side of the box.
Daniele Gastaldello headed a late chance off target for Bologna, but Giuseppe Vives turned home a second from a tight angle in injury time as Torino secured a second win in a row to end the away side's three-match unbeaten run.
