Thursday morning's La Liga transfer talk news roundup:
Barcelona, Real Madrid keen on Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes?
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Fernandes has enjoyed a productive first 11 months at Old Trafford, contributing 18 goals and 13 assists from just 33 appearances.
With the Portugal international possessing a contract until 2025, United are in a strong position regarding the player's future.
However, according to Fichajes, Fernandes will look to leave the Premier League giants should things not improve at the club.
The report claims that the 26-year-old has been left 'fed up' by the mood at United, leaving him to contemplate his long-term future.
Despite their recent financial constraints, Barcelona and Real will allegedly move for Fernandes if they feel that United are open to a sale.
Manchester United 'have a chance to sign Raphael Varane'
Manchester United are in the running to sign centre-back Raphael Varane from Real Madrid, according to a report.
The Red Devils are believed to have enquired as to the France international's availability in the past, only to have been put off by Madrid's nine-figure valuation.
However, Varane is now into the final 18 months of his contract and the Manchester Evening News suggests that United could make a fresh approach.
The report indicates that a number of clubs are interested in the 27-year-old, but no formal offers have been tabled ahead of the January transfer window.
Varane has started 10 of Madrid's 11 matches in all competitions this term and is a regular for France at the back.
