Thursday morning's La Liga transfer talk news roundup:

Report: Manchester City defender Eric Garcia agrees Barcelona move

Manchester City have agreed to sell centre-back Eric Garcia to Barcelona this month in a €10m (£8.9m) deal, according to a report.

The Catalan giants have made no secret of their desire to re-sign the Spain international, who spent time in their La Masia setup before joining City in 2017.

Garcia is out of contract at the end of the season and rejected the offer of a new deal, meaning that he was free to speak to foreign clubs from January 1.

Mundo Deportivo claims that City have now reluctantly agreed to sell the 20-year-old to Barca, rather than lose him for free in six months' time.

The Citizens were supposedly after £17.8m for the youngster, though it soon became clear that cash-strapped Barcelona were not in a financial position to match that figure.

Garcia has featured seven times for Pep Guardiola's side in all competitions this season.

Barcelona 'eyeing summer move for Angelino'

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City defender Angelino.

The Catalan outfit are said to be keen to sign back up for current first-choice left-back Jordi Alba, with Junior Firpo's future at Camp Nou far from certain.

According to Sport, Barca have identified Angelino as an option, although Ronald Koeman's side are aware that City are under no pressure to sell the former Spain Under-21s international.

Angelino has a contract at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2023 but has been on loan with RB Leipzig since January 20, making 40 appearances for the Bundesliga side in all competitions.

The defender has contributed nine goals and 13 assists during a successful spell at the Red Bull Arena, including eight goals and eight assists in 22 outings in all competitions this term.

Barca have allegedly already agreed a deal to re-sign centre-back Eric Garcia from City.
