The summer transfer window is in full swing as football clubs up and down the country, as well as abroad, try to strengthen their squads for the coming season.
We are yet to see a major transfer fee make the headlines, but with just under two months left until the window slams shut, plenty of money is expected to change hands.
Rest assured that we will keep you up to date with all of the latest developments as they happen throughout the day.
Good morning everyone! Another day, another merry-go-round of transfer stories. We're entering the second week of the summer window, so will we see a big-money move completed? A number of high-profile stars including David de Gea, Raheem Sterling, Sergio Ramos and Paul Pogba have dominated the transfer talk so far, but all four remain at their respective clubs... for now. We could be in for a busy day, so sit tight and stick around for all of the latest developments.
One big headline that has emerged in the early hours involves Liverpool and it comes from The Express. It reports that the Merseyside outfit will trigger Christian Benteke's £32.5m buyout clause this week. It is believed that the Aston Villa striker would prefer a move to Anfield rather than Tottenham Hotspur, who have also been linked to the Belgian's signature.
There's potentially a busy day ahead, but let's remind ourselves of the stories that emerged overnight in our Transfer Talk 8am update.
Toby Alderweireld's future has become a talking point in the last few days. The Belgian played for Southampton last season on loan from Atletico Madrid, but it appears as though the defender is on the verge of signing for Tottenham Hotspur. According to reports, the 26-year-old will have a medical in London today despite claims that the Saints are considering taking legal action over a clause in their loan agreement with Atletico.
Morgan Schneiderlin has been linked with a move away from Southampton throughout the summer. One of the clubs linked with the midfielder is Manchester United and, according to their former goalkeeper Mark Bosnich, a deal for the Frenchman has already been agreed.

Norwich City have been linked with several players ahead of their return to the Premier League. One of those is Hull City winger Robbie Brady, but a report has suggested that the Canaries are stalling on a deal for the 23-year-old because of Hull's asking price. Read more on this story here.
Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran has been on the move regularly in recent transfer windows, having been loaned out no less than five times in the past three seasons. The 22-year-old could be about to settle at a new club permanently, though, with Brenford reportedly close to signing him on a four-year contract.
Former Manchester City manager Joe Royle has insisted that reported Sky Blues target Paul Pogba is not worth £70m. It has been suggested that City are preparing a bid in the region of £70m for the Juventus midfielder.

More Man United news, this time involving reported target Matteo Darmian. Speculation has suggested that Louis van Gaal is keen on the right-back and his club, Torino, have now claimed that three bids have been received for the 25-year-old. However, president Urbano Cairo has refused to reveal which clubs have put their money on the table.

We have some news on Morgan Schneiderlin's future (sort of) from Southampton manager Ronald Koeman. The Dutchman has been speaking to the media at a press conference ahead of the club's pre-season schedule. Koeman reiterated that Manchester United failed with their first bid, which was rumoured to be £20m, but the coach has admitted that he wants a final decision on the midfielder's future made sooner rather than later.

Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has already given an update on the future of Morgan Schneiderlin today, and he has now revealed that a deal is "close" to being completed for a new face in defence. FC Twente's Cuco Martina looks set to join in the coming days, as a direct replacement for the injured Ryan Bertrand.
Juventus midfield duo Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba have been linked with their fair share of clubs so far this summer, but director Giuseppe Marotta has insisted that neither player is for sale. That's that, then.

The Sergio Ramos transfer saga continues to rumble on, but if the latest reports are anything to go by, the Real Madrid defender is supposedly on the verge of signing for Manchester United.
Meanwhile, just 18 miles up the M61 and M60, 25 minutes away (or 24 minutes without traffic)*, Bolton Wanderers have gone one better than the chaps in red and actually got a Real Madrid defender** to put pen to paper on a deal in the English game.
